Serves: 4


  • 500g fattis & monis spaghetti
  • 65ml (¼ cup) olive oil
  • 60ml (4 tbsps) ALL GOLD tomato paste
  • 15ml (1 tbsp) crushed garlic
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 30ml (2 tbsps) chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 15ml (1 tbsp) finely shredded fresh basil
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced (optional)
  • 50g (½ cup) parmesan or mozzarella cheese (optional)

Preparation method

Cook spaghetti according to instructions on packet. In a large heavy based saucepan, add olive oil, ALL GOLD tomato paste, garlic and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Add parsley and basil, drain spaghetti and add. Cook over moderately low heat, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and serve in individual pasta bowls. Garnish with spring onions and shavings of cheese if desired.
